How is your landlord progressing with this? Is your property done? The 2010 Decent Homes Standard means your home should be warm & weatherproof with relatively modern facilities. Meaning Bathrooms & Kitchens. The meaning of relatively modern is falling into different catagories depending on what your landlord percieves to be relatively modern. Between 10 & 25 years – so there is a wide margin. However, all homes should have PVC windows and some form of heating in every room. Some landlords may also be fitting new PVC Secure Doors. Whether you get a new kitchen or bathroom seems to be in the “lap of the gods”.
So has your property been done? Yes? No? Good standard? Are you happy?

It says that your home should be warm but what if the heating is to expensive to run, does this mean it is not affordable heating which should be 10% of your monthly income my heating cost me over 25%of my income.so what do i do without food or heat, you tell me.
